Hurricane Season

I didn't know eastern Oregon had a hurricane season but that's sure what it feels like right now. If there were palm trees in my front yard this is what they'd look like.

Oo la la! Naughty V-day cookies! I made these with some friends for a special husband suprise. There was another set but I accidentally sent them to work with Rory before I took a picture. They were a good laugh for us.

Rory made me a lovely Valentines dinner. It was delicious. I like our beach towel table cloth. We were pretending it was summer... and we just don't have a real table cloth.

Visit Home

Rory headed off to Montana for some work meetings last week so I went home to Rexburg! It was such a fun, relaxing week. I got to see old friends:

And have a mommy daughter date. We went to Targhee and skiied/snowboarded to our hearts content. At the end of the day we switched gear just for fun... I think I screamed the whole way down the baby hill! Skiing is fun but I definitely need to work on it.

I also played the Wii with my brothers for probably three days straight. I love Mario Kart! I went running with my dad and went and saw the new conference center on the BYU-I campus with mom. Sara came too and we hung out. I taught little Ruby how to say naughty words. What an awesome cousin I am. All in all it was a great vacation.

I've been working on this quilt for the past few weeks and it's done! This is my second ever attempt at sewing and I made a lot of mistakes but also learned a lot. I love long arm quilting machines! Best invention ever.
