Toots and Pops (And Adam and Ian... aaaand Sam and Angie, Laura, Pete and Candace and Hazel)

We got to go to Idaho this past week. The drive is soooo long but it's always worth it. Toots was amazing and met us in Denver to drive the rest of the way as my co-pilot.

We ate a lot of fast food. My girls were very over french fries by the end of the trip.

Checking out a moth on the wall of McDonalds.

We stopped for a much needed rest in Jackson and got some delicious bagels. June was a happy baby to be out of her carseat.

She's discovered her tongue.

We went on a surprisingly long hike with Pops and Toots on R mountain. The girls were total troopers and didn't whine at all!

June was much happier after I flipped her forward facing. She was not enjoying snuggling my bosom.

June enjoying some time with Pops.

Taking a walk with Uncle Pete and Hazelnut.

We went to the splash pad on the one somewhat warm day and Lily froze. She's a Kansas girl.

June surrounded with sleepy love.

We went to check out Mesa Falls and nearly got eaten alive by mosquitos.

Making pretzels with Toots.

Lily enjoying some time with Pops.

Rolled ice-cream! It was delicious.

We also rode the carousel a few times. The girls were pretty happy about that.

June didn't care.

But she did care about the blowout she had on the way home.

Madelyn Jumping

I think I need to start a series called "Madelyn Jumping off Things". Because she does. All. The. Time.

Another Phone Drop

This is a big one. I keep forgetting to update pictures since, you know, I've got a sweet little parasite taking up all my time.

Tiny little June toes!

Lily, June and I took a walk to the botanical garden one afternoon.

Look at that squishy face!

Madelyn loved all the flower trees this spring.

You can tell the chiggers haven't made an appearance yet.

One of our rare rainy days this spring. Lily was really excited to use her new umbrella.

Jumping on the bridge at Konza.

Lunch break.

Dad had lunch too.

Madelyn showing Rory a picture she took.

I love it when they get along.

Madelyn and her friend Aubrey before their Kindergarten music program.

Getting the floss tied to Madelyn's tooth.

Sweet sleepy June.

Lily checking out the 'sad cheetahs'.

Poor Lily fell asleep on the floor....again.

This time she fell asleep on Dad.

June found her fingers!

And I got new pots and pans!

There she goes again.

Madelyn's last day of school. The bouquet is for her teacher.

Pretty white moth at our garden.

Awww... baby.

Lily drew this pony. It makes me laugh every time.

Bubbles!

Butterfly Lily. Lilyfly?

It's hard to see her but Madelyn's about to get drenched.
