Merry Christmas!

We got to spend this Christmas at home...sort of. Jolene came here so we took turns between our house and Kipp and Kathleen's.

And this is what the boys wanted to do all day. But we made them play games with us instead. Poor guys.

Hogle Zoo lights up during Christmas. How pretty!

Lately

Madelyn's been reaching some developmental milestones. She eats solid food now. Especially peas. 

She also learned how to sit up.

We hunted a Christmas tree a few weeks ago. Sadly we had to go to a tree farm this year instead of into the wild. At least it wasn't a guided hunt.

Madelyn loves the Christmas tree. She's constantly trying to grab it. Then she gets mad when it pokes her little fingers. She also really wants to open the presents. I wrapped a non-present box for her and she ripped it to pieces.

This baby  needs to go to bed. 

Familysaurus Bed

Exactly. If this weekend were a dinosaur that would be its name. 

My family came down for the weekend. Yay!

We took Ian and Adam to the dinosaur museum at Thanksgiving Point. ( The first picture isn't actually a dinosaur in the traditional sense. It could be a really old car though.)

My wonderful dad gave me a bed of his own making. It is beautiful!!! Thanks you thank you thank you times infinity.

Snow!!

We got pounded with snow last night. Luckily no branches fell on our cars.

Our across the street neighbors had what looked like an entire tree fall in their yard.

Stewart Falls Again

Jolene was here this weekend so we decided to head up to Sundance and do the Stewart Falls hike with her. It was so much better this time. I wasn't 30 pounds over weight, it was nice and cool, and there weren't nearly so many people.

Happy Halloween!

This year I thought for sure we'd get trick or treaters so I actually bought candy and we had a party and dressed up and everything! We got a group of three college kids. What???? We are surrounded by children. I see them every day. So now we're stuck with a lot of candy. Please come post Halloween trick or treating to us.
