The girls and I went home this past week to see Super Sam (and everyone else). It was wonderful. West is best.
We got to see Uncle Sam driving a spud truck. We briefly saw Uncle Adam driving a spud truck too but it was just in passing so no picture. The girls loved the big truck. They even got to pick some potatoes off the ground and take them home. Delicious.
Sam getting his truck full of potatoes.
We went to Jackson Hole for a day and had delicious bagels and pizza but no Moo's ice cream. Sad. But we ended up getting yummy Haagen-Dazs so it was ok.
Throwing leaves in the river with Toots.
We stopped at a park in Jackson that had a really fun bouldering feature. Madelyn spent pretty much the whole time going up and down this wall.
Taking a break to swing.
Back home in Rexburg. Lily loved filling her pockets with rocks from Toot's back yard.
We got to meet baby Hazel! She was adorable and squishable and we miss her.
We also went to a straw maze! We only got a little lost following Ian's directions.
Lily was not too sure about it.
But Madelyn loved it. Look at that face!
Niiiice hair. (Em, not mom)
Scary twine!!
Madelyn trying to move a wall so we can go through. This makes me think of a Far Side cartoon.
After the maze the girls played on the straw stacks and slides. Who knew straw could be so much fun? Thanks Toots and Pops and Uncles and Aunts for all the fun! We wish we were back there already.
