Demolition Derby

Wahoo!!!! I love demolition derbies! The smoke! The noise! The destruction! I have to say my favorite car was the batman car. It was awesome. I would drive it to school.

Movie Night!!

On Friday nights the resteraunt across the street from us shows movies outside on a bigscreen. So we had a movie night on our roof! Popcorn, friends, no waterballoons thrown off the roof.... what could be better?

Fourth of July

For the fourth of July Rory went to City of Rocks in southern Idaho. I went to Texas. It was my grandparents 50th wedding anniversary. Sadly, I forgot to take any pictures. It was too hot. Rory had a great time though and wants to go back. He'll have to take me. It looks super fun.

Ward Campout!

Rory and I recently went on our ward camp out. It was tons of fun! We got to kayak and eat and play ultimate frisbee and eat and fish and eat.... It was great.

Baseball, Birthdays, and Barf Cake

Rory and I are on the ward softball team and have about one game a week. It's been lots of fun except for one game where we played a mean team. I just like getting out and running around. It's nice after doing homework all day.

Thursday was Dad's birthday so Rory and I decided to make him a cake... It didn't work so well. First off, the layers of the cake themselves were a weird shape and then I put coconut frosting on it and it ended up looking like a pile of barf. Oops. It's the though that counts right?

Everyone had a good laugh about the barf cake. But it was very tasty! I guess that just goes to show don't judge a cake by its frosting... or something.
