I Like Fat Boys

I'm sitting here waiting to go to a haircut appointment and thought I'd post hopefully one of my last bellylicious pictures. 36 weeks and counting!

Pretty Much Home

Our new little house is starting to feel more and more like home. I'm still getting used to being able to hear people talking/screaming into the wee hours of the morning.

Back Online

We finally got our internet figured out!! What in the world did we do before internet existed? We've been settling down in Provo quite happily. No pictures of the house yet because it's still a work in progress. We like it a lot, though, and it's really close to campus which is nice for Rory.

Our first week here we hiked the Y with Mom and Pete and Laura.

We also went and supported Britt while she ran a 5K color run. I wish we had known about this one earlier. It would have been fun to do with her.

Rory started his grad summer work. He's been very happy and really likes his professor.

This week I went back to Rexburg because Rory was gone to the Mojave all week. It was nice to hang out with my family for a while. I got to watch Sam play a few tennis matches. I'm jealous of his super tan legs.

Here's a picture of Lytle Ranch in southern Utah. Some of Rory's study sites are down there. He says there are lots of poky plants. Yup. He's just a happy guy.

I just have to add that it's really great being somewhere where there are cool restaurants!

Things to Celebrate

Rory and I celebrated our 4th anniversary on April 12. He brought me these beautiful flowers. What a great husband!

I've been celebrating the completion of my second quilt. This one is big enough to fit our queen sized bed. It took a while.

Both of us are celebrating that we're almost done packing....just in time to start unpacking. We have a whole room filled with boxes. How can two people have so much stuff???

Happy Easter everyone! We went to Ontario to hang out with Jolene, Kipp, and Kathleen for a couple days.

We had an Easter egg hunt.

I climbed a tree. There really is an egg up there... it's just hard to see.

It's Official!!

Rory got into the BYU Biology grad program! SQUEEEEE! We're moving to Provo at the end of April!

The Birds are Back in Town

Rory's been sick lately and I've been sick and tired of being inside so I forced a Saturday date day on him. Poor guy. Call me weird but I like to visit cemeteries and wander around....soooo we went to Dairy Queen and got some treats and hung out in the Burns cemetery for a while. There are a lot of masons buried there. After satisfying my creepy side we satisfied our nerd sides and went for a drive to check out all the birds migrating north.
