Rachel's Wedding

My cousin Rachel got married this weekend to a wonderful guy who's middle name is Myron! I love it. Unfortunately I forgot my temple recommend so I hung out with my baby while they were getting married. I heard the ceremony was beautiful.

Then there was more waiting while pictures were taken. Lucky Madelyn got food. The rest of us had to just be hungry.

There might have been some tears by the end.

Thankfully there was a family luncheon at the Blue Lemon afterwards and we were all refreshed. We also shot a four generations picture while we were there.

How to be an Engineer

Think of a project. Get really excited!

Find some ducks to help.

Get a cute cheerleader.

Tweak your project.

Tweak it some more.

 

Test it out.

That was too light. Add some rocks and try it again.

Bummer, short circuit. Retrieve your project and retreat to the lab.

Two Easters

We lucked out this year and got to celebrate Easters twice.

Our first Easter was with Jolene and the Studmeisters... I mean Stodtmeisters. Our first festivity of the day was Frisbee golf.

Baby peed out her clothes and ended up naked in the car.

Our next festivity was a picnic on the lawn. Madelyn got to crawl around naked-ish because I was too lazy to clothe the poor little thing. She didn't like touching her knees to the ground so she walked like a stink bug instead.

We also hunted Easter eggs.

Girl Hike!

Britt, Madelyn, and I went and hiked the Y today. It's so nice to have a small hike just minutes from my house!

Madelyn was stuffing rocks in her mouth faster than I could take them out. Don't worry, I don't think she actually swallowed any.

Dress Up and Swinging

It seems that Madelyn and her father share a proclivity for dressing up.

The weather was so nice today that we had to take a family trip to the park. Madelyn loves the swings.
