Warming Up

The splash pads have all turned on here and we've been going! It's nice now that both girls are a little bigger they play together.

This day was a little breezy and Madelyn got cold. She looks pretty cozy all wrapped up.

We've had a busy month so far. We went to Kansas City for a quick trip with friends. The girls had a fun time at this free play place in a hotel.

We picked strawberries at a local farm.

They were delicious!!!

Madelyn had Beach Day at her preschool and got to wear her swim suit all day.

Lily and I went on a mommy daughter donut date in the rain.

We took the girls to a car show and they got to drive an old fire engine. 

They were pretty excited.

And then Madelyn climbed a tree.

We got to go to one of my piano student's baptism. Afterward we took the girlies to Orange Leaf for froyo. They sort of loved it. Madelyn wasn't a fan of her strawberry froyo. But the toppings were fun!

Madelyn wanted to take funny pictures.

And of course Lily wanted in on the fun. Sweet girls!

Pandace in Kansas

Pete and Candace and Baby Hazel came to visit us this week! It was so good to see them and I took a brazillion pictures but here's the best ones:

We visited the K-State botanical gardens.

Hazel Nut is just about the cutest thing I've ever seen.

Lily loves her little friend. She's there every time we visit! It's weird...

We went to Sunset Zoo.

And got growled at by a cheetah! Look at that guy! He wants to eat my babies.

I think the emu wanted to eat them too.

Hazel was pretty interested in the birds.

And she loves when her mama makes funny noises at her.

We tried to take some cousin pictures but they mostly ended up like this:

We took a campus tour in the handy wagon from Grandma Jo.

And a hike on Konza.

Some of us took a run on Konza.

Resting on one of the tallest hills in Kansas.

Pete packed the baby.

Madelyn adores her auntie Candace.

Lily adores naps.

Rory adores pesting his girls.

Both the girls loved having Hazel around to pat.

We also (of course) went frisbee golfing. The mamas and babies decided to hang out at the park while Daddies and Madelyn golfed.

Madelyn came back half-way through. She got distracted by lady bugs.
