Christmas

Phew! Tons of Christmas photos. We had a great time and luckily the roads were mostly clear.

Before we left home we made some chocolate crinkle cookies. The girls loved rolling the dough in sprinkles.

Pete getting a post snowboarding massage. I don't think he liked it much. There was a lot of squealing.

Madelyn woke us all up Christmas morning bright and reasonably early. It was 7 o'clock.

Sam trying to get at his stocking.

Ian's new pajamas with Lily trying to get in on the photo op.

She really wanted me to take her photo instead. She was also wearing new pjs.

So much candy!

Uncle Adam feeling totally awake Christmas morning.

Making boat loads of french toast for Christmas breakfast.

Toots and Lily doing an adorable dance while Uncle Sam practices his song for his reception.

Sam, Angie and all their children... I mean nieces and nephews.

We went sledding a lot. By we I mean everyone but me. I just stood there and took pictures.

Pete and the Nut.

Candace and girlies.

Cousin sled!

Lily, Hazel and Toots. I love how squished in there Hazel is.

Crazy Rory.

His ride ended in a wreck.

One tough Grandma hauling lots of kids up the hill. Nice hair Pete.

Lily actually loved sledding this year... until she face planted. That's a different picture though.

Madelyn loved sledding the whole time.

Ian and Madelyn with Hazel squished in there somewhere.

There's the biff. She wasn't too happy after this.

Pete and Candace were!

Sled train!

There's Toots hanging on the end.

Awwww. Sam and Angie got married. Sam did a good job at looking into everyone's cameras.

Those are some pretty cute cousins.

We took a walk out into the dry farms one day to help wear the girls out. They were both troopers and slept really well that night.

Lily spent a lot of time playing with all the stuffed animals at Toot's house.

One of the days we went bowling. Rory was pretty proud of his score so he took a picture.

Bowling pregnant was a little hard. My hips were sore the next day. Haha.

We also took the girls to Harriman to see the swans.

Dad helping Lily see the swans.

Lily loves all the outdoor things her parents make her do.

Pops!

Checking out more swans and other waterfowl.

Racing Toots back to the car.

Lily's little face turned bright red so her Dad fixed up this little scarf.

She also decided she was done walking at one point and Rory hauled her in the sled. She looked pretty catatonic all wrapped up in her sleeping bag. Hahaha. Drama Queen right there.

Madelyn enjoying the sights.

Having a snack and being pestered by Pops.

Rory made himself a Baked Alaskan for his birthday cake. My contribution was a vibrantly food colored cake for the bottom layer.

The finished product. It was delicious.

The girls all conked out in the car on our way home. It was a great trip!

Phone Drop

Here's a few pictures of every day life in the O'Connor house:

Lily has become quite the little artist lately. She drew this picture of a person the other day and you can actually tell what it is!

We went to Madelyn's class Halloween party. She was so excited to have us there. She showed us everything and introduced us to everyone. Lily loved the attention.

Lily and I went on a little hike together. She only tripped and fell on her face once. Not a bad hike for us!

During Thanksgiving break Madelyn wanted to go on a girl hike so we headed out to Konza. I love this sister picture.

We made it to the top of the big hill! Then Lily tripped and bonked her knee and made me carry her aaallll the way back to the car. I was one tired momma.

Dad and Lily washing dishes.

We had a picnic at the park yesterday because the weather was so nice. Madelyn conquered the climbing wall.

Lily showing off her muscles. She hung like that for a long time!
