Sister Love

Madelyn has been pretending to be sick lately. It's a nice game for me because all it involves is me occasionally telling her to go rest. Lily also likes it because she can participate.

Two sick girls.

One sick girl got sick of playing with the other sick girl.

Friends at Konza

Kansas is crazy! Yesterday was 70 degrees! To celebrate we took our friends the Gunters out to Konza to let our girlies run around. Brook and Aubrey are Madelyn's besties. It's cute to watch them together… when they're not getting into trouble.

Aubrey and Madelyn

Brook is Queen of the hill. Who needs toys when there's dirt piles around?

"DAAAAAAAAAAADDDYYYY!!!!"

Nothing in Particular

Here's some pics of every day life.

Lily is becoming more and more smiley.

Madelyn right after a nap. So very cuddly!

Bath time.

Poor Lily has super goopy eyes at the moment.

Speaking of poor things… poor duck.

Crafty Dad and a Barfday

Rory is a boredom buster. He made Madelyn this play dough and she absolutely adores it.

Look what he just blew out of his hooter!

She thought it was funny to see her belly button in the play dough.

I also had a birthday. Madelyn had a hard time letting me open my own presents.

I really loved my presents and so did everyone else!

Potties and Sisters

We've started potty training Madelyn. She's doing fantastic! I hope it lasts.

So the first picture is Lily. The second is Madelyn. They look pretty darn similar.

Happy Birthday Rory!

Rory turned 30 this month!!! What a geezer. We celebrated with Sara and Jake and girlies in Nebraska. They were so nice to watch Madelyn so we could go see the Hobbit. Rory asked for yellow cake with chocolate buttercream frosting so I made him yellow cupcakes with a weird chocolate gnash… Luckily he's an easy going guy and was happy with that too. He's such a great husband.

He's also a wonderful dad!

Our Teeny Christmas

We had a very quiet Christmas this year. Jolene was the only family around. We were grateful to have her though.

We did the traditional nativity scene. This year our wise man brought wipes to the baby Jesus. I bet Mary would have appreciated that way more than Frankincense and Myrrh anyway.

Our wise friend Ely.

Mary, Jesus and Jesus' big sister.

Madelyn made out like a bandit this Christmas. She was so excited to open her presents! Thank you everyone. She was one happy toddler.

Lily slept through the whole thing. She was one happy baby.

Madelyn has been bouncing all over the place on her new bouncy ball. Thanks Kipp and Kathleen!

Lily has been sleeping all over the place.

While Jolene was here we took her out to Konza. This was actually Christmas day. It was nice and warm.

The picture tree.

Madelyn decided she needed to look through the hole too.

It was a nice little Christmas.
