Our last adventure of the day was hiking/riding the bus along the canyons rim to Hermit's Rest. Hermit's Rest used to be the end point of a stage coach tour of the rim. It took three and a half hours to get out there and then they'd turn around and ride three and a half hours back. It only took us about 45 minutes. I love modern transportation.
